The Henry Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors is taking applications for a full-time position of Nutrient Management Technician.

The purpose of this position is to assist ODA’s Division of Soil and Water Conservation and other partners in implementing H2Ohio nutrient reduction effort as provided in Amended Substitute House Bill No. 33 of the 135th General Assembly. Specifically, the General Assembly appropriated funds to ODA under appropriation item GRF 700509 to be used to “support county soil and water conservation districts … for staffing costs and to assist in soil testing and nutrient management plan development, including manure transformation and manure conversion technologies, enhanced filter strips, water management, and H2Ohio Program support.”

Salary discussion begin at $20.00 and are negotiable, dependent upon skills and experience. This is a 5- year grant funded position.

Henry SWCD is looking for 1 candidate to fill the open position.  Once filled position will be closed.
