The Log Jam Removal Assistance Program was created to help landowners of Henry County to removal log jams on waterways that are not on the county ditch maintenance program. This fund was created and funded by the Henry County Commissioners, Henry County Engineer, and Henry SWCD. The program is a cost share between the landowner with the log jam and Henry SWCD. The agreement allows you to remove log jams up to a maximum project cost of $6,250, with Henry SWCD paying 75% of the total project cost ($5,000).

- Provide a job quote sheet.
- If more than one jam is being removed provide a cost for each jam.
- Map of the location of the log jam.
- Description of the log jam or jams being removed.
- Where the logs will be relocated to when removed.
- Provide an invoice to Henry SWCD after completion.
- Provide a W9 to Henry SWCD.
- Visit the site pre project and post project.
- Payment will be made after approval at the board of supervisors normal monthly meeting.
- Provide a 1099 to the landowner.
